2014... I welcome you!

Out with 2013 in with 2014

This year I'm doing it BIG and giving more quality to my clients and potential clients.

Its going to be one crazy awesome year, starting with my new studio which I've just opened TODAY! (14 January 2014) My address is 1 Prestwich Road, Mthatha. I'm situated just below the TPS Sports field off the N2.

From all the people I've met last year I'm walking through 2014 with them by my side and I hope to build stronger relationships with them aswell as develop new ones with more service providers in and around Mthatha.

First on my list is something that's rather new to me and on my facebook page, its my Project 365 which I started on the 1st January 2014. Basically I will be uploading a picture every day of something that happened during the day or of something I done/saw that day. So far its going good and I'll keep everyone updated on it as the year goes by.

Secondly I'll be running more regular blog posts (I know I posted a lot last year but I'd still like to get more active when it comes to posting blogs and keeping people informed about what's happening)

Lastly, I'd to wish everyone a Happy New Year and may all your aspirations for 2014 be come a reality but bigger and better than your expectations :)

Don't forget I'm still doing 2014 calendars for those who never got theirs in 2013, I got your back ;)

For all the teachers out there, I'll be starting on School Pictures from the 3rd February so make sure you reserve your date ASAP because I wont be doing school pictures beyond the second term (after the end of June)

Here's to an awesome year ahead

xoxo

2013 At A Glance

2013 was a fun year for me, I met a whole lot of talented people who I worked with and whom I would love to work with in 2014.

1. In 2013 I met Leigh & Jo-Ann from Hotel Savoy Mthatha who I have build a wonderful relationship with, they even sponsored my Bride of the Year 2013 competition shortly after meeting me! And now they sponsoring my Bride of the Year 2014 prize too! Amazing! The hotel is awesome and I'd definitely book in there and recommend it.

2. I got to meet a very talented hair-dresser by the name of Joelle Paul, she's amazing and comes highly recommended from me. She did my hair on the 21st of September for my friend's (Charlene & Tim) wedding.

3. I met Carmen Howie who does eyelash extension, I'm definitely trying this out soon, no more mascara! Yipeeee!

4. I've also built relationships with some photographers who I can refer people to if and when I am already booked for a wedding/function.

2013 has been amazing! I learnt from it and gained extensive knowledge over the past 12 month which I am definitely going to carry out in 2014.

2014... BRING IT ON!!!

Madaza Wedding | 9 November 2013

On the 9th of November I got to meet a sweet bride and a very joyful groom. Luyanda and Nelisa got married in Mthatha, the ceremony was at the Cathedral and their reception about 20km out of Mthatha.

I absolutely enjoyed taking pictures of the flower girls, they were always ready with a smile and a very creative pose for each picture. Luyanda I think was very amazed at his (now) wife and couldn't keep his eyes off of her as shown in the last 2 pictures. He always had a smile on his face when he looked at her and she would giggle.

Lesson learnt from this couple: never let the spark fade *wink*

Cape Town | Table Mountain

I haven't been up Table Mountain since 1996 with my parents, back when I was still tiny :) This time I got to journey up the mountain with my cousin - Bernice, her son, my niece and sister Hamida.

Below are a few pictures of our experience on a very hot day in Cape Town (something Hamida and I never got to experience much on previous visits to the Mother City.

Charly's Bakery | Charly's Cake Angel's DSTV 175

I love being on holiday and visiting various places esp when it comes to place that I've seen on TV and taken a great interest in.

On the second leg of our holiday my sister and I decided to visit Charly's Bakery in Cape Town seeing as we were in the Mother City for my cousin's birthday.

I love Charly's Cake Angel's on Channel 175 on DSTV, I doubt I've missed a show since it started! I've always been interested in baking so this was huge for me, seeing this "mucking afazing" place in person and not just watching it on TV. I remember my sisters GPS saying we arriving at our destination and I could not see the place until we drove a bit further and I finally got to see it. I literally bursted out shouting "yaaay! Charly's Bakery, Oh my word! This is sooo cool" I probably sounded like a retard but I was really excited. Anywhoooo moving straight along, I made it a point to take a few pictures inside and outside... I wouldn't be Ayesha if I didn't hehe... Below are the pictures I loved most

This is a collage I made of the bakery, the story & some goodies we bought

If you watch the show, yes they really have these pot plants outside in the parking lol

This is me outside the Bakery... all smiles *_*
